What We Do
The ECRF:
- Supports the creation of internationally renowned research in translational oncology
- Helps patients into compassionate use and clinical trials with novel therapies
- Encourages young Australian scientists by providing scholarships to complete PhD projects or post-graduate studies.
The EnGeneIC Cancer Research Foundation is committed to challenging existing approaches to treating cancer and to encouraging the development of therapies that are tailored to the individual rather than being standardised across patients.
We do not believe that the debilitating side effects of chemotherapy should simply be accepted as a necessary evil associated with treatment, and want to ensure that there are research programs, students and professionals who are constantly challenging the treatment norms to come up with novel and tailor-made medicine solutions, particularly in less common cancers that often receive little research funding.
Memorial Scholarships
Let’s work together to make cancer a treatable and curable disease.
Encouraging young scientists and helping patients
Young Scientists Funded
$ Raised
Patients helped
We’ve Raised over $500,000 to Help Fund Young Scientists and Enable Patients Access to Clinical Trials
This has helped to provide much needed funding to assist patients into clinical trials, appoint nurses to attend to patients in those clinical trials, and award scholarships to young scientists to research and help develop targeted cancer treatments.
